The ferryman who knows both shores
In the myth, Charon carries souls across the river. Collective memory kept only the shadow of it. What we forgot is the essential part: he is the only one who knows the far shore, the only one who knows where the current pulls, where the rocks hide beneath calm water. And he is the only one who comes back.
Today, the river is called artificial intelligence. On one shore, businesses who know they must cross, but can't see the other side. On the other, eager vendors: subscriptions that pile up, opaque systems, terms of service nobody reads, and data that leaves with no return ticket.
Charon IA doesn't sell you the river. We take you across it. Then we teach you to row.

The situation
The real danger isn't the machine that rebels. It's the machine that watches.
Science fiction taught us to fear Skynet. Reality is quieter and closer to home: tools that listen, that remember, that cross-reference. An AI plugged in everywhere becomes an eye everywhere. Europe recognized this by regulating AI by law; Quebec protects personal information through Law 25. The risk isn't theoretical.

Charon IA wasn't born in a glass tower. It was born on job sites, where a design mistake gets paid for in concrete, and where you quickly learn that a structure you can't inspect is a dangerous structure.
Twenty years in the trade teach one simple thing: good work can be understood. You can see where the loads travel, you know what holds what, and the owner can have any competent tradesperson repair it. That's exactly what we demand of artificial intelligence.
Teaching for thousands of hours teaches the other half: knowledge that isn't passed on isn't worth much. Every system we deliver comes with its blueprints, and with someone on your team who knows how to read them.

In the myth, travellers were given a coin to pay for the crossing. Our emblem is that coin: the ferryman engraved in gold, standing in his boat, pole in the water. Three colour pairings are under consideration.
